So, last night we were reading stories and one of the books was a number book. We got to the number 3 and Jace was very excited because that's how old he is. He proceeds to sing the alphabet song and gets to the end and says: "There's no 3 in that song" It was probably one of the moments you had to be there, but it was funny to watch the "light bulb" turn on in his head when he realized 3 is not a letter.

Well, this is my first post and hopefully I will be consistant with this blog since it is our second. The kids have been in school for two weeks now and it is going great! Jake loves kindergarten and has already been thrown in the life of homework. He will be starting flag football on Monday which should be quite entertaining. We will probably get some "funniest home video" material with that.
Jadyn is enjoying third grade and is an old pro now with the school thing. Her teacher is expecting in January, so Jadyn is very excited. She wishes she could have a little sister, but that is not happening. She will be continuing with ballet starting in September. I think she will be doing volleyball as well;that will begin in October.
As far as Jace goes, he gets to hang out with me. He is learning a lot from Jake though, with all the letters and numbers he is picking up on all that. He loves to play games on the computer. It is really cute watching him move the mouse all around like a pro. He has recently learned to ride his bike using the peddles. I think he finally realized it was a lot easier than pushing it with his feet.
Jeff is currently in Seattle working really hard, but got a break today and went fishing for salmon. Unfortunatley, he didn't get anything. He will be heading back probably wednesday, he is driving our jeep back. I love road trips, but I don't think going solo from Seattle to Denver is very fun. Can't wait to see him.
Next weekend we will be going camping with some friends and people in our ward. It should be pretty fun. I will hopefully have some fun pictures from that trip.
